There is a total of 80,681 booths in West Bengal. Out of these, not a single ‘Uncollectible Form’ was found in 2,208 booths during the ongoing SIR.
Seeing this, the election commission officials of the state is also surprised. Reports have been sought from the DEOs and EROs of the respective booths. It has been asked to submit the report by 10 am on Tuesday.
The election commission officials said that out of a total of 2,208 booths, the highest number of booths where not a single ‘Uncollectible Form’ was found is in South 24 Parganas.
Uncollectible form was not found in 760 booths. This was followed by Purulia (228 booths), Murshidabad (226 booths), Malda (216 booths), Nadia (130 booths).

Not only this, only one ‘Uncollectible Form’ was submitted in a total of 542 booths in the state. Two ‘Uncollectible Form’ gathered in 420 booths. Three Uncollectible Forms have been received from 372 booths.
‘Uncollectible Form ‘means dead voter, duplicate voter (name at more than one place), permanently shifted voter (have moved to another place) or untraceable voter i.e. those who cannot be traced or whose filled form is not submitted.
Surprisingly, why were such forms not submitted in 2,208 booths?
Does this mean that there is not a single dead voter, duplicate voter or permanently shifted voter in these booths?
This aroused suspicion. For this reason, the commission has sought an immediate report.
