Meanwhile, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee arrived at the I-PAC office in Salt Lake.
Talking to the journalists, a fiery Mamata Banerjee said:
“…Is it the duty of the ED, Amit Shah to collect the party’s hard disk, candidate list?… The nasty, naughty Home Minister who cannot protect the country and is taking away all my party documents. What will be the result if I raid the BJP party office? On one side, they are deleting the names of all the voters by carrying out the SIR in West Bengal…Because of the elections, they are collecting all the information about my party…”

According to the reports, this raid is officially linked to the fake Govt Job Scam & Coal Smuggling cases. The panic suggests the proceeds of these scams didn’t just line pockets—they were likely laundered into “fees” for I-PAC to run TMC’s machinery.
Reports claimed that Prateek Jain runs the TMC IT cell.
In the meantime, Mamata Banerjee is being crticised.
When a Chief Minister personally removes ostensibly incriminating documents from an office that is being searched by the ED (or any other empowered body), she is wilfully putting herself above the Constitution & Rule of Law. Are some people more equal than others? @AmitShah…

Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress has alleged the raid as deliberate and politically motivated. Firing a salvo the party said that this is yet another attempt by the BJP to capture Bengal through unethical means.
In a statement on X, the party said:
“Unable to fight democratically, the BJP is now using the ED as a weapon, trying to forcibly seize party documents, internal strategies, candidate-related details, and crucial papers. The raid is a part of this larger conspiracy, orchestrated through the ED under the direction of an authoritarian Home Minister.”
