Trinamool Congress and Member of Parliament from Diamond Harbour, Abhishek Banerjee on Monday inspected ‘Sevaashray-2‘ Camp in Bishnupur.

Abhishek, who is the driving force behind this welfare initiative, personally visited the camp for an inspection.
His presence created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the beneficiaries and volunteers present. During the inspection, MP Abhishek Banerjee not only provided physical support to persons with disabilities by handing over wheelchairs but also instilled in them confidence, mobility, and renewed hope.
He interacted directly with the beneficiaries, listening attentively to their health problems, needs, and experiences, and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials.

On this occasion, Abhishek Banerjee paid tribute to the great traditions of Bengal and its luminaries. He offered floral tributes to the portraits of Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, Rishi Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, expressing his deep reverence for their ideals and timeless values.
He said that the ideologies of these great personalities continue to guide society towards humanity, service, and equality. The MP also reviewed the camp’s arrangements, medical services, availability of medicines, and the registration process.
He praised the efforts of the volunteers and doctors, stating that programs like Sevashray act as a bridge between the government and society.
