Kultali is on alert after fresh tiger footprints spotted by the villagers today morning. According to the reports, on Thursday morning some villagers in Kishori Mohanpur area of Maupith-Vaikunthpur gram panchayat had gone for a walk on the bank of a river, a branch of the Thakuran river.

It is being claimed that there they have seen fresh pugmarks of the tiger in the mud. Now all the residents of the village are living in fear. They are coming out of the house in groups.

The forest department officials have been informed about the same.

Local residents claim that the paw prints of the tiger that have appeared in the mud are fresh. It is suspected that the tiger is somewhere in the vicinity. Children and elderly villagers are not being allowed to come out of their houses.
