Janshakti Janata Dal has appointed Kumod Chowdhary as the state president for West Bengal. The party’s national president and former Bihar minister, Tej Pratap Yadav, handed over the appointment letter recently in Patna.

This important responsibility comes ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Bengal.
According to the reports, ahead of the assembly elections in West Bengal, which are expected to be held in a few months, Janshakti Janata Dal’s national president and former Bihar cabinet minister, Tej Pratap Yadav, has appointed prominent social worker and socialist leader Kumod Narayan Chaudhary as the state president of the party’s West Bengal unit.
Tej Pratap Yadav recently announced his intention to contest the upcoming Bengal assembly elections.
Kumod Chaudhary, who hails from Darbhanga, Bihar is always ready to assist with social work and public service.
Having been actively involved in political activities since his student days, Chowdhury has also led several movements in various
parts of the country, including Bengal.
Enthusiastic about his new responsibilities, Mr. Chowdhury affirmed that he would spare no effort in expanding the party’s reach in Bengal.
