
KOLKATA: There will be fewer Metro rides on Kojagari Lakshmi Puja tomorrow Monday. Pratidin reported citing Kolkata Metro sources that 236 metros will run on the Blue Line (Shahid Khudiram-Dakshineswar) up and down.
However, normal services will be available on the Green Line (Howrah Maidan-Sector Five), Yellow Line (Noapara to Airport), Purple Line (Majherhat to Diamond Park) and Orange Line (Shahid Khudiram-Beleghata) like on other days.
On normal days or regular Monday 272 metro trains run on the Blue Line. That number will reduce to 236 on Kojagari Lakshmi Puja. 118 metros will run on the up and down lines. However, there is no change in the departure time of the first and last metro from the terminal station.
Full Schedule:
6.50 am: Shahid Khudiram service will start from Noapara.
6.54 am: Shahid Khudiram service will start from Dakshineswar.
6.55 am: Shahid Khudiram service will start from Dakshineswar.
6.55 am: Mahanayak Uttam Kumar (Tollygunge) service will start from Dakshineswar.
Which route of the Blue Line the last metro will leave!
9.28 pm: The last metro from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram will leave.
9.33 pm: The last metro from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram will leave.
9.43 pm: The last metro from Shahid Khudiram to Dum Dum will leave.
There is no change in the metro timetable on the Green Line (Howrah Maidan-Sector Five), Yellow Line (Noapara to Airport), Purple Line (Majerhat to Diamond Park) and Orange Line (Shahid Khudiram-Beleghata).
