KOLKATA: Sri Sachin Kumar, IRTS (2018 batch), has assumed charge as the new Sr. Divisional Operations Manager in Sealdah Division.
An accomplished railway officer with a master’s degree in history, Sri Sachin Kumar brings with him valuable experience in railway operations and administration.
Prior to his present assignment, he served as Divisional Operations Manager, Malda Division, from September 2024 to September 2026. Earlier, as Area Officer in Malda Division, his efforts contributed to the division’s achievement. He has also served as Assistant Commercial Manager, Sealdah.
In his new role, he will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, improving passenger amenities, strengthening commercial freight earnings, and promoting teamwork to deliver better services and ensure greater passenger satisfaction.
